I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist with over 15 years of practice in the mental health field. I have worked with clients at many different stages and situations of life and have experience in psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, psychological testing, and neurofeedback. I am board certified in Neurofeedback by the Biofeedback Certification Institute of America (BCIA) and offer neurofeedback training for a variety of mental health issues, including (not limited to) ADD/ADHD, anxiety and depression. I am excited to bring my knowledge and experience to my individual private practice, located centrally and conveniently in the college hill neighborhood of Wichita, Kansas.
My Approach
I have experience working with adults, adolescents and children. I recognize the importance of meeting each client “where they are” and without judgment and believe building a healthy and safe therapeutic relationship can contribute to positive change. I utilize a flexible and integrative approach to therapy, drawing from models of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I additionally offer neurofeedback training as a primary intervention or an adjunct to psychotherapy. I am particularly passionate about deepening my knowledge in neurofeedback and implementing neurofeedback into my practice. It is my goal to seek positive change and alleviation of suffering in those with whom I work.
